Language Barriers

There are some times where a little linguistic ambiguity is not a huge problem.  Occasionally, the failure to communicate effectively can be entertaining, even enlightening.

Other times, you want nothing more than to be perfectly and clearly understood.

Like when you are about to undergo some delicate medical procedure.

Or when you get a hair cut.



I gave the kapsalon (hair stylist) this picture ('cause a picture is worth a thousand words, right?  And that is a lot more words than I know in Dutch):

And got a haircut that is a cross between this and this:

 They are not the same thing.  

Ahhhhh, life.

Maybe it will wash out.
